An app has been launched to give festival-goers up-to-date information on Neighbourhood Weekender. Organiser SJM Concerts has teamed up with Second Screen for the Android and iPhone app which has all the line-up times for Saturday and Sunday and can give music fans a 15-minute reminder before their favourite artists are due on stage.

At this year’s Neighbourhood Weekender, newly-signed band Sea Girls will take over the official app with exclusive videos and photos of their day. Made in conjunction with Second Screen, the app will once again be the main point of contact between Neighbourhood and its festival-goers.

The app was great for interacting in a more direct way than we can with either social media or printed programmes. It really suited the festival and take-up was much higher than we’d hoped so it’s clear the audience is in to the idea too.
